The renegade robots “skin jobs”, i.e. robots that are exact anatomical duplicates of human beings, yet subservient to them, in the Sci-Fi classic film, “Blade Runner“, starring Harrison Ford, James Edward Olmos, Sean Young, Rutger Hauer and Darlyl Hanna, is another example fiction mimmicking reality. This film is another excellent example, like the more recent SciFi Channel Series, “Battle Star Galactica”, of the kind of “Old Empire” false memory implant technology used by “advanced” civilizations, such as the one emerging on Earth in the 21st Century.
